Did you know 86% of college students buy physical (new and used) textbooks, as opposed to renting, downloading, or borrowing courseware? According to the U.S. Department of Labor, healthcare employment has increased by 502,000 workers over the last 12 months. There are approximately 50 general healthcare career paths to pursue and countless subspecialties that call for different levels of education.

Nearly one in 11 U.S. jobs is in the health care field, according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Occupational Employment Statistics. Employment in the health care field has grown significantly in recent years and will likely continue to grow. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, health care occupations will add more jobs than any other group of occupations over the next 25 years. Over that timeframe, the growth rate is projected to be 19%, faster than average for most industries.
