JAMES ROSA

James B. Rosa is a professor of accounting at Queensborough Community College of the City University of New York in Queens, New York. Jim received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Queens College of the City University of New York and his master’s degree in business administration from the Peter J. Tobin School of Business, St. John’s University. Since 1987, Jim has taught principles and intermediate accounting, tax law, and accounting computer applications. Jim has been included in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers three times. He is a certified public accountant in the state of New York. Jim is a coauthor of the textbooks Computerized Accounting with QuickBooks® Online 2017, 2018, and 2022; Computerized Accounting with QuickBooks® Pro 2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010; and Computerized Accounting with QuickBooks® 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, published by Paradigm Education Solutions.

KATHLEEN VILLANI

Kathleen Villani is a professor of accounting and chairperson of the Business Department at Queensborough Community College of the City University of New York in Queens, New York. Kathleen received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Queens College of the City University of New York and her master’s degree in business administration from Hofstra University. Since 1984, Kathleen has taught principles, intermediate, and cost accounting, along with accounting computer applications, microcomputer applications, and business organization and management. Kathleen has been included in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers three times. She is a certified public accountant in the state of New York. Kathleen is a coauthor of the textbooks Computerized Accounting with QuickBooks® Online 2017, 2018, and 2022; Computerized Accounting with QuickBooks® Pro 2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010; and Computerized Accounting with QuickBooks® 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021, published by Paradigm Education Solutions. Kathleen previously worked as an auditor for New York State and for Ernst and Young and was a financial controller of a healthcare facility.
